Driving Instructor in the Maynooth/Celbridge/Leixlip area

Has anyone from around these areas had particularly good experiences with any driving instructors/school from the area? Or any particularly bad ones for that matter so I know who to steer clear of (sorry, bad I know)!

I had lessons before with the ISM guy in Maynooth but wasn't too impressed, did lots of driving but no real time spent on parking, things like that. Haven't driven in over a year now so will be starting from scratch again

I got a guy called <snip>, in Leixlip, from <snip>. He's really good and mad sound, passed my test a few days ago with only 1 blue in Fonthill. He's very thorough and got me well prepared so I went into the test really confident, rather than being nervous and making mistakes you might not normally make.

There are a few schools in the area, the one you mentioned is probably the most well known but my sister opted for <snip>. I don't know them personally but she passed first time which was some going from my experience being with her in a car! At the time it was 25 a lesson. Not sure if it still is. Best of luck!

Jamesbrew, do not unnecessarily bump threads - this is nearly 5 years old.

Also, as per the charter, recommending named driving schools is not allowed.
