maybe get a bus to Tarragona and then the train to Barcelona, subway to the station.

www.renfe.es is the spanish train company website. They have an English version.

Get the little trains that go around salou to port aventura then get off at hotel el paso and the train stop is right outside that hotel. You could walk to hotel el paso from salou its only about 15-20mins stayed in that hotel 2 years ago and went to barcelona for the day. Ring the hotel before hand and they might be able to tell you the train times to barcelona.

I'm not sure but they may even been a stop for the tarin in salou itself but never got that far so don't know for sure.

Thanks for all the info. What is the nearest train station to the Nou Camp?

Sants Estacion is the nearest train station to Camp Nou. From Sants you could hop on the metro L3 (the green line) and get off at "Les Corts" to get even closer.
www.tmb.net might be of help, so you can visualize it yourself.
