    Hi lads
Not sure where to post this but here seems appropriate(mods?).
Anyways just a quick thread about how impressed i was with gmail, just today i was checking my spambox and noticed 2 emails from ebay, with warning from gmail about phishing marked on the top of the email.
It was one of those emails asking to change the login details etc.
But fair duse to gmail for catching and trashing the email,i was totally unaware of what happened.

    Anyone else noticed this?

    Damo

Gmail have a great spam service, when you get spam at the top of the page you can click and tell it that it was spam, I figure if enough people do this then any email like that gets blacklisted and will automatically go to the spam box if any other gmail users. So you have the real spam detection of millions of users, not just some dumb computer that can be fooled by spelling mistakes etc.

Just ignore any emails you get. If it is a real ebay email then if you log on in the correct way (never log on via links in emails!), once logged on if there is something they want to tell you the notice will be there in your account. same for paypal or any banks etc.

some ebay spam emails are remarkably good.
