    very nice. these little feckers dont hold still for long so you did very well to get the subject nice and sharp and the DOF really adds to it too. great capture

    Thanks folks. It was shot while I was nearly asleep so details are fuzzy. Shot with an EOS 350D and a 100-400L. Around 300 to 350mm and cropped from 8 to 5.5MP. Around F7.1 and either ISO 200 or 400 ... think it was the latter. Shot in RAW, as always.

    I think she stayed there for about 2 seconds, maybe 3. I've plenty of practice in the hide at this point ... meter, focus quickly, compose and shoot. Keep everything on the tripod so I can react quickly.
