New USPS Shipping charges

Probably won't affect guitars and such, but for the few of us who import bigger things like keyboards this is a killer. Verbatim from another forum.
Unfortunately, USPS just made some changes which will likely effect many of us. It seems as though they've reduced the maximum size of shipments to a number of international destinations from 108" length plus girth to 79" length plus girth for economy post, air parcel post and express mail. What this means is that all but small electronic musical instruments (like modules, effects pedals or drum machines) are going to cost a lot more to ship from the US. The cost of shipping a properly packed, 5 octave keyboard to Europe can be $300-500 (UPS International's cheapest service),

I suspect that as a result of this, we're going to start seeing a lot of sellers seriously underpack their items in an effort to squeeze them into boxes that fall within the smaller size limits. This will of course will mean more damage.
