    Folks

after seeing the post last week and after talking to the shane at the weekend I have decided to organise a kettlebells work shop with jason o ceallaigh

Its all up in the air at the moment but we are looking at the 1st weekend in july for it most likely out in SBG in rathcoole, but that will have to be confirnmed

Jason (BLUNT) is at/has been at the cutting edge (excuse the pun) of Aisian arts for many years, practising silat and old thai battle field arts, since i have known of him i have known that he trains very very hard and intensely with anyone that will train with him... If he tells me that kettle bells work then i for one believe him...

I suppose initally i am looking for numbers of people that are interested in attending... if there is enought interest then I will conifrm it with jason. Once that is done i will look to see who wants to buy kettle bells and jason will organise buying them bulk(ish) in london and get them over here....

this is open to anyone at all that reads the boards.ie or from further afield... instructors from other clubs/gyms anywhere at all are more than welcome... I supose the most inportant thing is getting this arranged and getting a flight booked for jason as early as possible

PM or ring me if you need more details

    thanks paddy

    Nice idea Paddy.

Just on the date, the Bank Holiday is the first weekend and the MMA Summer Camp is the second weekend. Might deter a few people. I'd be very interested and would probably drag along one or two people. You may even get the €50 I lost to you on DeLaHoya v Mayweather if I remember my bank card;)

There's no bank holiday in July. But I'd prefer Saturday July 14th for the workshop. i can't attend June 30th.

DOH! Read it as June. Why did I get the summer camp right then? Never mind, ignore what I said.

    Carry on Paddy.

Paddy thanks firstly for sayen the kind words ( I'll send the money in the post )......I'm in Belfast at moment do'en a bit of coachen back to London tonight then back to Belfast next weekend.I'ed be up for Dublin no worries,July time is cool for me.I'm bringen bulk K-bells to Belfast soon, they are the same ones the Russian dudes use,so it will be no worries for any one who wants them in Ireland very soon.I'll coach no sweet and would get the world champion over to at some stage ( as I'll be training with him,in June )
So as Paddy says it s all up in the air but I will be there and there will be 100% chance to but the gear.So once again thank's Paddy.......keep'er lit J

OK I think by the end of today we will have enough people to do it numbers will be limited anyways due to the old swinging of kettle bells and i have a few lads as well from outside MA circles that i want to bring to it as well.

I will draw up a list of people that are primarily booked and go from there

then I will get a price list off jason and you can order through me and jason will try to bring as many down as he can, I dont think its necessary to have them to come along it would just be nice to have a bell or 2 to take home and practice with after

thats it as far as i know

    will keep you posted

This should be good craic ....

Maybe this is a silly question, but will there be a load of kettlebells provided on the day? Cos obviously there's only the one Narigus donated to the gym there at the moment.

aye there be kettle bells alright

theres 2 ways to pay the forst is to come to train and the 2nd which aint much dearer is to traing and to get a kettle bell of your own so that you can take it home and train there

okay folks I got all the info from BLUNT

    he we go...

The date of the workshop will be Sat the 27th October 2007 ( which can be changed if ther anything on)

This is to allow for the order to be taken in, ordered and shipped from russia

I have converted prices to euros so i hope they much in line

Paddy finaly the craic is the course is e90

if you do the course and buy a kettle bell to take home the cost will be
    8kg to 12kg @ e155
    16kg @ e165
    24kg @ e185

"This is the price for the professional range"

It is NOT possibel to come along and attend unless you are buying a KB OR your mate is with you and you are going to use his KB... There WILL NOT be KB's lent out for the day

If you want to order a KB just for using at home and not coming to the workshop then the prices are

    e75 for the 16kg'z
    e105 for the 24kg'z

where do we go from here :)

I expect and influx of PM's and email to paddyclint at gmail dot com booking places on the course... I know a good few are definites and a few of my mates are defo on for it so its limited to first 20 people

    thanks

    paddy
