I know its locked, but I have not posted in a while as been very busy.

That was a funny "analysis" of the various MAs, from nothingcompares.

I found in my experience, well those in the know agree its training methods, those who are really in the know, knows if you have the right training methods and every so often go through full on training, especially striking, where you cannot tap out, to save your butt from a combo of punches thats going to take your head off.

However, sometimes it nots the art, nor the training...its the person, the guy with the beer gut, and smokes 40 fags, whose done it 100 times on the street for real (ok he' s a A**ehole, and we do not condone this criminal behaviour), he will do what it takes to win, no matter what.... glass you, bite you, anything... in fact Lee Morrison talks about this in his new book.

Or its the Trad Karate guy, who has the experience, Geoff Thompson was a Shotokan Karate guy (with a kung fu background), when he started on the door...it was only in later years, he got into boxing, thai, wrestling.

I think that assumption on KM is not correct either...the KM I am involved with, all is done full contact. most of it focus on unarmed stuff anyway. its a bit like dirty Muay Thai...

I am not sure why you continue on the most almost 2 years on the same rant.... the likes of that is what drove all the good MA people away.

I laughed at some of it. In fairness it was posted at half four in the morning on a Saturday night (Sunday morning). I'm sure there was a beer or two involved.

Colms reply was much funnier though. :D

I think it was all in good fun to liven things up around here. I don't really think he meant any harm. Just having a bit of craic, and afterall - that's what us irish are good for right?

    *pattents craic-jitsu*

Want to have a craic and learn how to crack? Craic-jitsu is for you!

    *sigh*

I don't like coming on here and seeing threads like this. Really, they get me upset.

Don't come on and talk specifically about a poster, particularly one who's serving a time out for a bannable thread. Mill, you can talk it over with him on the bench for this thread.
