Why don't more video artists post their work on YouTube?

Wouldn't this help them reach a wider audience? I know that there is ubu.com etc but youtube would surely be a better choice? Given that even politicians are now doing it, why not artists?

Im guessing snobbery. YouTube contains so much crap, that serious video/film makers would rather feature their stuff on their own sites/servers rather than mix with the common people. That said, there is some seriously professional stuff on YouTube and I swear by it as a quick, easy and free way to get your stuff out there.

Isn't there some massive EULA you have to accept before uploading that basically says Rupert Murdock can do what he wants with it once you upload too?
