Yeah they had a decent enough selection of those DVDS in tesco Wilton the other day too.

Only strange thing was that whilst they were all priced 4.95e some of the prices labels were the yellow special offer ones stating the price at 4.95 each or 3 for 25e....
I think you posted in the wrong thread :D I think you mean the cheap dvd thread : http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055094613

Wish there was a Tesco petrol station near me :( They don't have enough around the country.

I got the brochure for these offers in the post, initially I thought it was a good deal but I'm not sure now. I like to spend my vouchers in store, then I'm saving on the goods I'm normally buying anyway.

Was planning to sail with Stena or Irish Ferries in the summer - about €500 - but if I use the deal vouchers, it'll be about €125 - excellent !

There was no magazine in my local tesco .

Does it say in it exactly how you avail of these offers and how they long are valid for ?

The 'deal tokens' are vaid for 6 months, the magazine came with the May clubcard voucher mailing - if you haven't received your mailing yet, maybe give them a call

Its really good value especially if you are near one of these restaurants.

a nice meal is a nice return for shopping with a supermarket!

    it'll be about €125

How much would you have to spend to get that amount in vouchers then?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,357 ✭✭✭snappieT

    That'd be 12,500 euro.
But if you have it anyway...

usually 1 point per euro, but many times there are deals on, like 25% back from beer/wine/spirits in points, and usually there are already good deals on, so I would regularly buy €200 of drink at a go to last several months, and get €50 in vouchers.

is there any "standout" offer people should avail of? not readily known?

i.e. most are for things you might not normally get. I am presuming the guinness storehouse is only for entry, but an example might be if the vouchers could be used for drink in the bar.
