Peugeot 206 - first car

After my last choice was blown out of the water I've been looking at a 2003 1.1 206 that has relatively low mileage and is a good price. My brother in law has been 'warning' me that apparently some 206s have a problem with cutting out at high speed so, other than that, are they an ok car as regards reliability? And is the engine cutting out unique to a certain model (or that common)?

    Thanks
