Live game tonight. on the turn gob****e bets 10k into pot leaving 1 5k chip left, bet called by only remaining player.
gobshiite mistakinly thinks that it was the river he had just turned over and also that he had shoved all his chips in(he hadn't called in) he turns over his cards saying nut straight (he had) . pointed out that river had to come, f***.
    major conflab:ideas on ruleing:
    1. cards stand- other player has info and can do as he likes gob****e can only call.
    2. cards exposed = dead cards.

on a side note cards that hit the muck are dead i think every one agrees,
what abouut the flop cards, they are not muck and are live cards??

by the way if the cards are face up and hit the muck then they are still live. the players hand is still live and can only call a bet from now on.

Not always. Here in Linz the rule is that exposed cards are dead. Then again it might depend on the floorman on duty.

I think what joe was saying was that face up cards that touching the muck aren't dead. And they aren't, cards often touch when being flipped at showdown or all in,
but in your situation (in austria) they are dead because of being exposed, touching the muck or not.

In the situation abouve the river is dealt and the other player can fold or raise depend on what cards hots or if he wants to bluff it.
