BT2 does nice stuff for guys, but their clothes for little boys are all for kids named "Julian" and "Fintan" and "Vincent" etc.

Yeah, T-shirts from H&M turn into sh it after the first wash. It's a shame cos some of their clothes actually look quite nice.

Topman may have quite **** clothes but their launch last night was brilliant, free drink all night and four great bands played. SO hungover today thankyou Topman! :D

i've been saying that about topshop and most shops in dublin now for YEARS. Shops like topman are for people who have no sense of fashon AT ALL! There might be 1 in every 10 items in there that are in anyway palletable.

H&M's crap to good ratio is in the 4/10 range, which is still crap. The internets the only place to shop!

Topman is only useful if you want to dress like an English stag party
or a group of scousers on their 2 week hols in Costa del Brit.
Next is another store that falls into this category.

As for H&M, they unfortunately include Ireland as part of the UK
when making decisions as to what clothes to stock. If you ever
pop into H&M in Sweden or Holland you'll notice a much better
    range.

It's just a pity that certain large multinational clothing
chains seem to bundle Ireland in with the 'outer regions of
UK' - I personally think there's a big difference between
what's fashionable in Dublin and what's fashionable in
    the North of England.

Luckily Bershka and Pull & Bear are much better in my opinion.

However all the shops above stock what I'd class as
'disposable' clothing and arent designed or priced for long
    term wear.

where are bershka or pull & bear?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 668 ✭✭✭blow69

^^^Both are in Dundrum town centre.Pull and Bear are also in Galway,Waterford etc. Not sure about Bershka.Pull And Bear closed in Cork recently takes to crappy crappy Debenhams.Aggghhh i hate them! They closed my favourite store!

On Henry st there's a bershka or pull n bear can't actually remember which, Roches stores use to do pull n bear stuff as well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,405 ✭✭✭gizmo

That'd be Pull n Bear on Henry St.

As for Topman, yea they have a couple of nice t-shirts alright, the rest of their stuff is extremely dodgy though.

Envy have gone down hill big time too, well either them or the stuff they stock. :(

They have some nice plain jumpers/tshirts n stuff...

But if shopping for clothes, surely one would go to many shops to see what's on offer?

I've gotten some nice things in shops which contain 90% stuff which I'd consider horrible.

What's the big deal about a shop not generally adhering to your taste in clothes?

There's a Bershka in the Jervis Centre
H&M's clothes are fine, I wouldn't say they only last a couple of washes!! I have loads of clothes from there that I wear often.

maybe its coz all their models are 17 or younger

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,807 ✭✭✭chump

    pull and bear is great

then for decent clothes you need to spend the few quid and buy known brands, in clearys, arnotts, bt

would look in tribe too, and tk-maxxamillion

maybe oconnors, and a big fan of zara

so... i got a presant of a tshirt from topman. its like one of those jumpsuits old men in cowboy movies wear to bed.. with the 2 buttons to open up the ass end of things.. only its a shirt. My sister got it for me, so i cant just hide it in my closit :/

1 good thing from topman - skinny pants! They are nice jeans tbh, but thats it!
