any half decent back would be a good signing for munster.

Have a feeling all the talk of him going to munster in the media a little bit back was probably his agent agitating for a better tigers deal.:(

Hugely talented footballer, and he has some achievments as well, this could be his 3rd HC winners medal, to add to his 5 GP winner medals.

That said, All I can think of is intercept passes :(

Laugh it up fuzzy:D Only messing.
Com'on Munster actually have started to put a good backline together (granted we stole two great players in Kearney and Warrick) but eh *shrugs* ye stole two from us and they are doing well.

Think GM would have done well in Munster but dont know if the game plan would have suited him. Munster depend on a very capable FB on defence and sorry he doesnt look the part after the 6N

What is the real story about Kearney going to Munster or not? I thought he was going too till I saw this article on the leinster rugby website and I saw Kearney on the list for leinster 07/08 squad and not on the trafer list, is the article wrong or has something changed in the mean time?

Must be THE most celebrated Irish player ever in terms of success club and country?

I cant think of anyone who would come close to that. Given Munster only 1 HC and no leagues, Leinster well eh.....we beat Toulose once ;) and then the other exiles......

I thin I started that months ago, it turned out to be Leiws that went.
keaney is ours and hes staying, I think the rumour I hear at the time, as it transpired true, was another Carney.......not from Leinster ( per se )

Some English twang on the guy, never know he was a Wicklah Hill Man, Shane Byrne and Leo Cullen country!

Not forgetting the fact that Frankie Sheehan was born in Canada which makes him a Mountie by that logic.

alot of munster players will not be munster born next season. ROG, frankie, hurley, buckley,o sullivan, lewis, warrick, anthony kavanagh in academy and gary walsh as well are leinster schooled as well, manning mafi(kind of obvious), ronan and pucciarelo anyone else anybody can think of?

Nope just had confirmation from Steffanno that Trev has only ( only! ) 2 HCups no T14 and well we know he was not part if any 3Crown winning team.

That makes Murphy Irelands most succesful Pro player, any player, ever!
I think there should be a Boards presenation to the guy in homour and he still cant a game:D for Ireland these days!
