Seen this tonite in the IFI.

Easily deserves the 8.3 vote on imdb. Very moving film Joy Division fan or not.
Well worth seeing, but don't expect a ground-breaking film and you will enjoy it immensely.

Went to see this last night in Eye cinema in Galway. Absolutely fantastic. I hadn't really heard of Joy Division or Ian Curtis prior to seeing the movie, but I did know that he had comitted suicide at a young age.

It really is dark and gloomy brilliance. The black and white picture adds to the mood. It is brilliantly filmed and Riley's performance is really really good. I am now a Joy Divsion fan. She's Lost Control is amazing.

    Very moving, briliant.
