    hi guys;
    now heres the story;
    i both a belkin wireless g usb adapter(model 7050) to get a old mac wireless,it wasnt compatible "out of the box" so i downloaded the ralink mac drivers from the website.(knew this already after a bit of research).
    they worked grand without any problems on a old g4 ti book and g3 imac...happy days!
    this was last year,anyways i bought another one recently with the same model no etc but it doesnt work,when i plug it in the green light just stays on,this is the same on both computers.i even go to system profiler and it doesnt even see the device.
    the old one still works and i bought back the new to get it replaced just in case it was a hw fault but its the same with a new one.
    the only thing i noticed that was different was the fact it says "version 4001uk" on a sticker on the back of the usb device.
    are belkin using a different chipset (ie; not ralink) in this version?
    ive downloaded updated drivers but still nothing,tried google but couldnt find anything thats useful.
    comments would be much appreciated.

    regards
    damo
