    That seems to happen a lot on Channel 6. At least it used to. Amateurs!

    Also, anyone notice NTL analog in Dublin is not providing BBC1, BBC2, etc. in 14:9 format anymore, just old-fashioned 4:3. :mad:

    They're jokers when it comes to ratio. I only watch it on NTL analogue, is it the same on digital or can the decoder box alter the signal?

    It is, it's on NTL in Dublin.

    It looks to me as if the signal is going through an aspect ratio converter that is set incorrectly, perhaps at NTL's end. I've no idea what type of signal Channel 6 transmit, but I imagine it's 16x9 full height.
