Sorry if this has already been posted. I'm flying to Boston in August with British Airways. I booked flights on BA website so all my flights have a BA flight number but my flight to Heathrow is a codeshare with Aer Lingus. I have a few questions:

Q1. Do I check in at British Airways desk or Aer Lingus desk?
Q2. If checking in with Aer Lingus will I have to pay check in charge?
Q3. If checking in with Aer Lingus will I have to pay excess bag charge if bag is over 15kg even though BA say my allowance is 23kg?
Q4. Can I check-in the whole way to Boston?

    Any advice much appreciated.

You check in at AL desk.

    No bag check charge

No excess charge if you're within the BA allowance

You can check your bags through and you should be able to check yourself in from Dublin the whole way too.

Yeah, your bags will go all the way through to Boston I'm fairly sure.

Check in at Aer Lingus desks, no baggage chage, the bags should be chacked all the way through, as should you be.

Well mine went Dublin-Heathrow-Atlanta-Newark-Boston as far as I remember but yeah they should get there eventually.

4 days of no bags in the summer in Boston = no fun + smell

Why? Had you packed your shower in your luggage too?

    :D

u wont have any problems except having to put up with the lacklustre aer lingus customer service until u board the superior BA flight. Enjoy ur trip
