As you may have noticed, Kdouglas has a barcode in his sig. I just scanned it, and it seems he is worth €7.99c in Tesco's. And starting saturday, there's a 2 for 1 offer.

The things these students do for money...

Edit: can't get the pic to display. What's up with that?
Edit 2: Fixed the image....it seems the tags must be lowercase even though the button in the 'new post' screen puts the tags in caps!

im going under the assumption that he was joking and didnt actually scan it in tesco's, although id be curious to see what would happen, the odds of it matching an actual product are very slim though

Ah Barcode Battlers...I remmber when Tesco's was giving them out for free. About the only time in history that a company gave away thousands of handheld gaming machines for free.

They used to have a barcode battler set up in Quinnsworth, a sort of 'demo' one secured to a table, we used to be getting as many barcodes as we just just to swipe them through..........NEVER understood the game, but it was fun to swipe things and watch all the numbers :p

They had the competition that time where they gave out tickets with numbers on the back, one for every £5 spent or the like, then once a week they would announce a number, if your ticket had that number you won a barcode battler.......I must have had a couple of hundred tickets at one stage, fun going through them every Friday! :D ....never won one though, Santa was kind enough to bring one though.
