    Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone out there has tried the Wu-long tea. Does it work? Just curious as its supposed to help with weight loss and also improves the skin.

Weightloss claims are via the same basic mechanisms as green tea. No harm if you like the stuff, but don't expect it to make weight fall off of you. No idea about it's effects on the skin.

IMO most of these teas (green/white/peppermint/echinachea/oolong) have benefits, mostly as anti-oxidants but also other specific properties so it's good to drink them. As potent medicines/fat-burners however I would look elsewhere, or at least at concentrated extracts.

I got some of the authentic stuff (very expensive) and it doesn't make the weight magically fall off! Maybe because you have to drink so much all day long that you are too full to eat....... It did clear up my skin though (I have mild psoriasis)

Llike most supplements or dietary aids, it'll help you lose weight but it won't magically lose it for you.
