Phone expenses-best way to handle them?

Hi My job want to pay for my phone-grand, but they want to transfer ownership of the phone to the business. I would rather keep the phone in my name and let them pay for it. What options are there? and what are the disadvatges of keeping the phone in my name, VAT etc..? My friend says he got his phone covered under…

My friend says he got his phone covered under unrecipted expenses, i can't find any thing on the poor revenue website about any of this.
