Just wondering what the rest of you thought of Sky Blue Sky. I bought it on friday so I gave it the general time for a wilco album too mature and I love it. It's obviously not on par with Hotel Yankee Foxtrot but Its definitly up there with Summerteeth and A Ghost is Born. As for the songs, I'm loving Walken, Shake it off and Impossible Germany.
Also, any news on them and Picnic

It's a fine album indeed not nearly as good as a ghost in my opiniob but i love that album and see it as close to as good as it gets... They can do no wrong. Hopefuly they'll play EP. Looking good that they will...

Took me a few listens to get into it but I have to say that I'm really enjoying it. Picked up Kicking Television recently too, great stuff!

Can these guys do any wrong?

It's not bad but not as good as Summerteeth, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot or A Ghost is Born IMO.

    Yeah like it too
Impossible Germany is great, Walken reminds of an old 60's song
    Prefer it over summerteeth.

Got my shiny record in the mail this morning... I actually love it. Not sure if it will surpass Ghost for me, but it has alot more to it than i first thought.

If anyone has a spare ticket for them in NY on June 25 feel free to let me know...

The lack of an Irish date is a disgrace. I have to go to Torino to see them

Electric Picnic Bubs! I'm in NY in June and desperately trying to find a ticket for them... Not going to happen though...

They aren't guaranteed to play picnic and I'd have to cut my holiday short to go. I'm waiting to see if they're confirmed or not before I decide to sell my ticket.
You could just get tickets for the one in Boston. it'd be a couple of hours on a bus but it'd be worth it and it's one of the most Irish friendly cities in America
