Was thinking bout knocking back a whey shake just before i go to bed every night to get a few extra calories into me while i try to bulk up, any got an opinion? would it be a good idea just before you go to bed or not?

Oh and before anybody says anything my diet is fine! just looking for some extra calories!

not a problem, chuck some milk in with it for extra bonus points - whey + casein proteins (in milk) = great mix of fast and slow release proteins

A small drop of olive oil to slow down the old digesting of the whey. A tip I learned off Billy Bourne.

i always add some oil to my shake, i prefer Macadamia Nut Oil, better source of healthy fats, an absence of Healthy Fats in your diet restricts your muscle development enormously
