Hand from jackpot this morning. Game is pretty lively and a fair few stacks. The main villain in this hand is the english guy james. (big, bald, minted).

Raised to 7 blind. Hero has 6c 6h. Calls 7 as does the button and the villain in the SB.

    Hero 450
    Button 200
    Villain 900

    Flop: 4h 5s 6s (30)

Villain bets out 30. Hero raises to 100?
Button shoves for 200. Villain pushes. Action to hero??

The button has had the goods more often than not. James is an aggressive player who is certainly not shy of playing big pots.

hey mark, wow tough one to get away from on such a draw heavy board. you beat all the smaller sets..... 77 for the overpair straight draw (would he play 77 this aggressivley?)..... would he have raised 44, 55 77 preflop to take down the blind raise and limps? 45, 47, 57, 67, 7x spade and Ax spade all reasaonable holdings for villian i assume given your description. i'd definitely call given that no matter what you're not drawing dead and you've calling 350 to win 780.

would the villian play a big pair this way? if so id probly call. if you are behind to a flopped straight your only about 60/40. more info on how villian and butto play would be helpful. but i think the right play is ramming it.

you've something like 35% equity against the flopped nuts, easy shove.

Easy fold, this isnt a tournament. Theres no need to put all your chips in the pot willy nilly.

I assume this is some sort of sick joke!

Mark although this is a very dodgy board i'd push every time here, given your read on the English dude i'd say he's probably on As Xs or 2pair here and would be happy to go against him... if the button has the made straight

and you don’t improve, hopefully you take the side pot which covers your original stack.

If Villain is likely to shoving his big draws, I would call.

I would only fold if I was convinced he flopped the straight..

The pot odds are actually boarderline in your favour if he flopped a straight. you're roughly 30% to hit your house, but that's assuming all your outs are good

This is a very routine call and hope that:
    (a) you are properly rolled for the game
    (b) the board pairs; or
    (c) they are donkeys and one of then doesn't have a straight (unlikely but you never know)

    And our survey says.................PUSH!!!!!!!!!

3 ways plenty of money at least 7 outs on turn 10 by the river If your ahead already which I think you are. Reckon for an over pair to the board and 34 or 67 suited.
