so saw spiderman3 , overall terrible but this is a thread for a different issue .....!

I had watched the first 30/40 mins of the movie but left because of some little f%^$$ constantly talking

I agreed with the Usher to go to the next screening about 45 mins later

Anyway on the second viewing 2 distint scenes missing from the 30/40mins

The Classoom scene with the Mayors daughter ansering a science question and the first view of Goblin junior using the chamber and the Goblins secret room

Just wondering if anyone noticed this or the reasons ? ...is it to fit into schedules in the multiplexes ? , wondering was there more cut in the second viewing as such ! ?

its here because anyone that has seen the film will be more familiar with it and is more likely to knows the scenes in the review sections where various parts are been discussed

If it bothers the Moderators though please move to suitable location

I thought this was about the footage they cut...which there is apparently a lot of and if left in would make it an incredible film. I've seen some pictures of stuff they cut out and even looking at the pictures you could see how the characters would be given more depth. In particular Sandman.

The footage that was mentioned in the first post is stuff that was in the version I saw (the day it was released). It was far from incredible. It was an awful, awful movie.

I haven't seen spiderman 3 but I'm just curious about this too, can cinemas actually cut parts out of films themselves?

They can, but they are not legally allowed to. They are under contract to show the film as is, credits included.
