Some thoughts on this;

Sylar seems to want to be the bomb, so yes, i think he is.

I don't think Nathan will stop it - but he and/or Peter will find a way to limit or nullify its impact.

There has to be a Peter/Sylar fight, there has been so much teasing/foreshadowing. Also a Hiro/Sylar fight.

Hiro already met his dino. He shook his sword at it.

Well we have the fact that the future should Hiro attacked Sylar but then again we see Peter face Sylar in the preview.
And he also seems to control the nuclear power in one part.

So what we know for sure is Hiro is chasing Ando who is looking for Sylar,
Peter and Claire are also gonna run into Sylar at some point and they l fight.

Me thinks Ando will get killed but Sylar will either defeat Hiro or Hiro will teleport away and then Sylar goes on to meet Peter.

I don't think we'll see Hiro fight a dinosaur 'for real'. For one thing, there's only one episode left.

Also a lot of Isaac's paintings have come true in a way that was unexpected - as though they were deliberately misleading. Remember Claire with her head cut open and her brain gone? Only it wasn't Claire. And Peter flying? When that scene happened, he fell, Nathan had to catch him. And Peter 'dead' under the homecoming banner? The pictures of Peter and Simone were also misleading to Isaac himself, he believed she loved Peter, when she really loved Isaac. The dinosaur painting was IMO another of these.

Which leads me to believe that the explosion will happen, but not in the way we expect, New York won't be blown up. So far, Isaac's paintings have been accurate, not possible futures or alternate futures, but pretty exact and precise. Although if my paintings theory is correct, the painting of a future New York after the explosion doesn't make sense.

I just checked out the Isaac/Peter/Simone thing - I got it backwards, the painting was of Isaac and Simone, but the same idea applies, it was misleading.



The painting of New York exploding could be something else - a smaller explosion, a model of New York, or something - but the post-apocalyptic view from Charles Devaux's rooftop is pretty explicit.

Simone tells Isaac he doesn't paint the future, he makes it - and Isaac seems to realise something along these lines just before he dies, so maybe that's part of the explanation.

Either way, the finale should be good. It had better be

The only we know really regarding the paintings is that the artist had to die to stop it from happening. The artist knows it doesn't happen already so the question is in what part did his death stop it happening?

Maybe it rolls back to when Hiro turned up first at his apartment.
