    Hey all,
When I try to add my Quick Launch toolbar in Windows 2000 it is disabled. I have added myself as Admin on the machine but no luck. Its a work PC and they have disabled it. Anyone know how to enable it?

    Cheers,
    Jeff

if they have disabled it, it is probably through group policy and you will not be able to enable it from your machine.

it would have to be enabled from active directory.

i would guess they have a reason for it.

you could try this but i don't think it will work if its enforced by group policy:
Run RegEdit to inspect the following Key:- HKey_Current_User\ Software\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Policies\ Explorer. If the Key contains an item 'NoToolbarsOnTaskbar', change its value from a one (1) to a zero (0). Restart Windows for the change to take effect.
