    Hey,
    My sister gave me her old XDA, and I was wondering what cool things I can do with it now. Or where can I get some (free) games for it.
    Its running windows mobile 3 I think??

    take a look at the sticky above about 3rd party apps.
    some windows mobile apps worth a look are:

    1) isilo: reader for reference texts/medical textbooks etc.

    2) pocketslides: powerpoint-like presentation app to create, edit and play presentations.

    3) pocketdictate: cool little dictation app turns device into a dictaphone.

    4) fizz weather: inexpensive neat weather app which can check weather in thousands of towns/cities worldwide.

    5) weather watcher: free weather app

    6) tomeraider3: good reader for reference texts e.g keep wikipedia on a storage card and read it with this or read the imdb database for facts about practically every movie ever made.

    7) betaplayer/TCPMP: free movieplayer which can play most files.

    8) pocketskype: free voip app.

    9) worldmate: decent updateable currency conversion/world weather/world time/international dialling prefixes app for travellers.

    10) netfront browser: good for shopping/banking online.

    11) opera mobile: Nice browser.

    12) metro: free updateable ap
    p for city transport systems around the world e.g tube/metro/subway systems. poor ireland coverage. (free)

    13) softmaker: word and excel on a pda.

    14) pocketRSS: rss reader

    15) acrobat reader: handy for reading pdf documents

    16) mortplayer: nice mp3 player (free)

    17) shane church's currency converter (free)

    18) gprs monitor

    19) plenty of satnav apps: e.g copilot, destinator, aa navigator work with windows mobile

    also you could check out ppcfreeware for freeware and pocketgear and handango for commercial apps.
