    Any views?

    Think it was an improvement on the previous few years and they got rid of the intro that was getting annoying, new one is very good imo!!
    Taught the the graphics with the players was a nice touch its just a pity that spillane is still anchor on the evening show:o

    I have to admit that the new set-up is better than last years intro music crap, but both are not a patch on the "traditional Sunday Game" theme tune.

    The graphics looked good (very like Sky Sports, I thought) but the most annoying thing about them IMO was a sort of tearing noise on the TV when every graphic came onto the screen. Not good sound effects at all.

    I have to agree with you OP about Spillane. I am absolutly amazed that he has been left there at the job that long. Gary Linkear, he is not!!

    Yeah it looks pretty good this year. I'd agree though the theme tune now is even more non-descript than it's ever been.
    I wonder did every county have to submit player photos for the pre-match line-up screens?

    The music is really great this time. It's not the classic James Last version. Very different. I'm humming the tune though! At least this time there is a tune to hum!

    Those graphics are really cool the way they sync with the music so well and there is a good mix of teams in the intro. Croke Park looks stunning.
