I'm planning to cash out of party this week and I'm thinking of getting a cheque by mail. Has anyone done this before?

Yeah will take about 3 weeks. If you have a bank a/c you should get a bank transfer instead. You just need an IBAN number which is a just a combination of your a/c number and your banks sort code. The tranfer goes through within hours so you will save time and hassle dealing with a cheque.

The cheque is the only one that's free. I'm guessing there'll be bank charges to lodge a USD cheque though. Also there's the cost/time of going to the bank (which is always -EV)...
