I was just checking the rules and regulations and it says you cant do this if auction is less than 12 hours away...and thisone ends in 2hours

does anyone know about this? dont wana get stung!

He wants you to send the money before he ends the listing? That definitely sounds dodgy. What if someone else bids on it after you send the money but before he ends it? Will he honour both? I'd stay clear and report him to eBay, forward the mail where he asked you to do this. Not that eBay will do anything of course as they are completely useless.

I think the seller can end an auction early though. I was looking at getting a phone recently but the seller listed restrictions to posting to Ireland so I contacted him first. He said it was fine for me so I put a bid in and then he ended it early (by about 3 hours) so I won and could pay straight away. Nothing wrong with that, but I had my bid down and was the winning bidder (only bidder actually) when the seller ended it. Paying up front with no bid in place is well dodgy.

there is a bid on it now or £95 but he will end it if i send him £100. yea i think it sounds dodgy too cos theres nothing to associate me with the item cos im not the highest bidder. gona give it a miss but thanks for the advice

If there's currently a bid on that's not yours then that person will win if he ends it early, not you. I'd report his behavior.
