This is VERY late notice but sure there are some who may find it useful ...

Tomorrow, Sunday, is the annual Carlow Stages rally, better known as the MKII Challenge. It consists of approx 260 entrants, starting with the Group 8 WRC Class it will run the normal field of competitors before releasing 50+ RWD MKII Escorts into the quiet Carlow surroundings. They won't be quiet for very long :D

Cars are coming off the start ramp @ 0940 in Carlow town with the first car on stage at 1030. The stages are running in the Fenagh direction. A programme along with maps are available from most service stations in the area.

    More info please visit http://www.mkiichallenge.com/

Paddy, is a map of the stages available anywhere online? I can't find one myself. Might head out there tomorrow, I'm not terribly far away.

None I'm afraid, going trekking myself early tomorrow. Best bet is to pop into a service station & pick up a program !

I was amazed two weeks ago how good the programme is. There are perfect maps, so buy it there.
I am going there in the morning, however a little later. I am going to see people there. My camera and manual focus lenses don't allow me to shoot cars. And they are not my hobby either.
Programmes are to be sold in all petrol stations. Once you get to Carlow, there is petrol station on the right hand, you can't miss it. They had programmes today (Saturday).

I don't think I can make it for the start but from what I can tell on the website the later stages start around noon, so I'll try to get a programme somewhere and get a good spot :)
