I'm looking to pick up 3 x 77mm UV & a 77mm Circ Polarizer but finsing most places expensive, I knw they ain't cheap in the first place but finding some massive price differences ...

£58stg for 77mm Circ Pol on WarehouseExpress
€49 in my local camera shop Plus €22 for the UV filter ...
Onestop are cheaper again but I have to verify my paypal as I've gone over the unverified limit and my lenses are already en-route ...

    Need them fairly ASAP ...

Expect to pay around the tonne mark for a CPL in the 77mm dia.
As for the UV, no idea.

Try www.7dayshop.com. Some excellent bargains in filters.

You could consider Cokin P-type filters ? Much more flexible in terms of other lens diameters etc

Have the Cokin system already but they're too awkward for events ...

Cokin? I don't think so... Good for stills and landscapes but not for daily use.
Check sizes of Pentax SMC filters, I have never seen better filters with multi coating layers. No haze, added reflections.

I bouught a Hama 77mm CPL from 7dayshop recently for £17.95. I find them to be fine, having used the 58mm for quite a while now. They've also got Hoyas at I think aound £48.

On the offchance you're wanting to put it on a Sigma 10-20mm and worried about vignetting, I'm using it and while there's possibly a slight amount of vignetting at the wide end, it's nothing the vignetting tool in lightroom can't easily handle, so there's no particular need to fork out extra for a thin filter.

Note that the above is only valid for the Sigma on a Canon - Nikon sensors are marginally bigger, and I believe Nikon users do report vignetting at the wide end.

I've used these guys on ebay fairly recently - one week turn around from order placed to order received... they also shipped to a non-verified paypal address without any problem...
