    Jesus chirst thats was a dramatic ending to a great season. Not as good as season five's ending, but great none the less. The way Vic walked out on the review board, and shane digging himself into a new hole again. Have to say I enjoyed every minute of it.

    yea great episode. Shane kidnapping vic's family to save them was great. So he still does care...The only thing is, shane could've tried harder to get in touch with vic to let him know what he was doing / had done with vic's family.

    overall great season. the only bad thing is we have to wait a long time until the next and final season...

    I loved this season.
    I'm just really bummed that it was only 10 episodes and that next season will be the last.

    I honestly thought that Shane might get taken out by one of the Armenians and Corrine and Cassie would be stuck in the container, with nobody knowing their location.
    Regardless, Shane's days must be numbered - he's in way too deep. Even if he had good intentions with regards to Corrine, he still not only killed Lem but ratted out Vic's involvement in the money train. If the show is going to end in any way, it'll be Vic taking out Pendrell.

    Liked how Vic worked with Aceveda. I chortled when I saw the return of the mobile phone pics last week. Aceveda is a slimy git and I want him to get what's coming - but I've a feeling he'll somehow avoid it.

    Be interesting to see how the turf war goes next time - the Mexican slayings may be solved but there's still unrest and still the involvement of the local gangs buying up land. I reckon that'll be the big plot driver for next year and Claudette's last big hurrah.

    One thing we didn't see much of this season was Dutch's darker side, that saw him kill a little kitty. I want to see this explored more, particularly in the light of his failed wooing. Dutch reminds me a lot of Tim Bayliss in "Homicide: Life on the Street" so the more sociopathic side could be interesting.

    Also I wonder if Billing's law suit, as throw-away as it seemed, will have a big impact last year. Reckon it will and reckon it might tie into Dutch in some big way.

    I thought the same about shane getting killed with Vics family in the container. It was great to see that way Vic turned the tables and started working with Aceveda, just when it looked like he was done for, bang, back in the game. Ronnies character development has been excellent as well. We got to see just what this guy is about, and I've been very impressed. This guy is dark to say the least, dexter dark. I didn't like the way Hiatt's personallity changed to one of a completely naive retard over the space of an episode, seemed very rushed.

    Well they didnt reeally go anywhere with dutch's story it just ended with the kitty part.

    Still tho great season even if it was short

    Jesus H! I honestly didn't realise that that was the finale! Only 8 eps in the whole season ?????

    Actually now that it's sinking in, that makes a bit more sense. I thought they were messing around with Shane a bit too much in this ep and kind of wasting a lot of opportunites to dramatically torture Shane (and if anyone ever deserved it .....)

    Must watch it again immediately!

    Regards Dutchboy and Tim Bayliss .... I dunno, Tim was pretty cool and he didn't seem to have any problem with the chicks (or the guys either in the last few seasons :rolleyes: )

    Admittedly, it's been a while since H:LotS (although I've recently reacquired it) but Dutch reminded me of the way Bayliss was the young brilliant detective who would obsess over a case.
    Now you're right in that Bayliss was much more of a people-person, but certain qualities remind me a lot of Dutch.

    That was a pretty good end to the season, not as good as last year but still good. I thought with Kasakian Jr keeping an eye on Shane that she might have had someone following him when he put Corrinne and Cassey in the trailer and killed them after he left, or maybe burned it with them inside.

    Vic turning everything around, working with Aceveda to expose what the cartel's involvement with the developer was pretty good. What will he do with the big box of leverage now though?

    Shane is now in the pocket of another Armenian, that will surely play a big part in the final series. Will someone give Shane up to the Armenians as being involved in the money train robbery? I can't see any way out for Shane now, he has to end up dead somehow.

    And finally Dutch, I'd like to see more of his dark side too. I actually thought he might become a serial killer himself after the cat killing incident. That's probably stretching it too far, but still. Maybe that was just a one off though, Dutch exploring what that other serial killer had said to him in the interview and not really wanting to become like that.

    This is the problem with people believing what they read on wiki like it's the gospel truth.

    According to a number of websites, that information is actually true.

    There's only 10 episodes.... that's why it was an hour and 5 minutes.

    Doh!!! I'm not missing any, I just can't count (or read) :rolleyes: Thanks! I got kind of confused with another TV show my cousins are sending me, also beginning with "S".

    IMHO, considered in it's context/time, Homicide was the best TV show ever (at least up to that time.)

    I think its just 10

    Wiki = 14
    Tv.com = 9
    Epguides.com = 9
    Tvrage.com = 10
    Offical site = 7 episodes (offical site in the us)

    Ok well we dont know im going to go with 10 episodes, it seemed like a season ender to me, The 7th and final season will be out around the same time as BSG season 4 sometime early 08 (Jan 08 i belive i read for season 7 shield but that was ok wiki)

    There are ten episodes listed on the wiki site, I have seen all ten as has everyone else in this thread. The dates listed are the American air times. There isn't four more episodes.
