Do you know anyone in the UK who could post it on for you.

    It's just a load of Wee-Wee.

No way around it unless you have someone in the UK or buy elsewhere like Pixmania, Komplett or other places.

Sorry for piggybacking, but I've seen a laptop on amazon.co.uk which seems really good value compared to anywhere else.

I can get a friend of mine in the UK to take delivery of it, but my question is can I give my payment details (ie a Visa card with an Irish address) along with her UK address, or do I need for her to give her UK Visa card details?

    Thanks

no you can give your own visa card. when you join amazon give your own address nut when you buy the laptop it gives you the option ship it to someone else address which it keeps on file

I've ordered an electrical item from Amazon UK. I was buying off an Amazon Marketplace seller so that may be why I was able to purchase it though. Try putting the item in your basket and continue to the checkout because there may be a (small) chance they will deliver here.
