Hello. I've noticed my Marshall AVT is beginning to make a sound similar to two glasses knocking off each other, particularly when I play a C note. Any idea what this is?

No idea, and clutching at straws here, but just out of interest: is the sound the initial clink of glass against glass or the sort of ringing aftertone you might get from two crystal glasses being clinked? Because the latter might be some sort of feedback? Also, does the sound appear regardless of whatever effects you might have on?

Hey. I opened it up last night just to look for obvious problems and give everything a tightening. It might just be the valave restrainer clip - piece of wire around the valve - but I tightened all the screws with an electric screwdriver. Seems to have helped.

Sounds like a microphonic ECC83, especially if tightening the restainer helped. Best change it out before it shorts.
