I am heading over to Glasgow on May 16th for the uefa cup final in hampden park, I booked a hotel for the night of May 16th but I got an email just now saying the hotel is booked out and I haven't been charged. I've spent the last while googling and it appears all hotels are booked out for the May 16th. Does anyone have any suggestions, because my flight home isn't until 10pm on May 17th. Btw I am flying into glasgow international airport with aer lingus, if that is of any help.

    Thanks

Try Paisley which is where Glasgow Airport is beside, other than that you could try places like East Kilbride, etc, do a search on google for hotels in Paisley first.

Look for B&Bs and hostels, alternatively try Hotels on sauchiehall street.

Have a look at this list.

Cheers, hopefully I find something. I really wish I had booked the 7am flight home rather than the 10pm flight now.

If u cant find anything in Glasgow maybe try Edinburgh and get the train up and back?
Not the most practical I know, but the train only takes about 40 mins each way.
Or if not Edinburgh somewhere closer to Glasgow on the train line.

Just put those dates in lastminute.com and it returned a number of options.

Thanks guys. A lot of hotels on lastminute say they are available, but actually aren't. I think we'll have to find a camp site somewhere and rough it for the night.
