I'm having a Beetle restored at the moment and can choose any colour I like which is cool! But which one???
Is it possible to get colour cards covering all makes from anywhere?

When Emilio was doing mine in '98 I spent a couple of weeks visiting car showrooms to get a good look at the colours, then asked for a brochure when I had decided- the codes are almost always listed ;)

Vinny Byrne can mix up a rattle can for a tester from this code, as can Halfords.
They will both also have chip books to browse through colours, but you can't beat seeing it on a car first.

I don't have current contact info for Vinny Byrne but I'm sure somebody here will.

For genuine VW colours take a look here - http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/info/paintcodestype1.php
