So Im finally buying this guitar today! After ages of waiting for an oppertunity to get one!

Im getting it from america for $600 which is 450euro. But I have a question, Will I be charged Import tax on this?

Yes. It is probable you will. Sometimes they get through but they are minority incidents.

I'm pretty sure they'd just keep your guitar until you pay up.

I believe they take the view that if you're old enough to buy the guitar, you're old enough to pay the tax on it. Tis just the way it is. Nice choice of guitar btw.

When you're importing something from outside the EU, always factor in the import duty when you decide if
a) You can afford it &
b) it's good value or not.

If you DO get away without paying duties, look at it as your lucky day. But NEVER assume it, especially if you can't afford it.

EVen with that, it's still a lot cheaper than most continent prices.

I got a fender lite ash tele for 470e including postage.
I like your choice of guitar.

Who do you speak to about these things though as I intend doing the same, the prices are still a hundred euros cheaper.

Instrumental will buy guitars. Dont expect a great price however, you'll get a lot less than you would from a private sale.

Well I have a Jackson MIJ Kelly, Alder body, Active Emg's 60/81, Floyd rose, and hard case.. Brilliant condition!
And then a gothic Les Paul with SD's. Good condition!
I just need 450 for both! Would I get that do you think?

I havnt had too many dealings with the boys in there so I dont know how it would work out. I would be surprised if you didnt shift them over on adverts though, I know ive been eying up that Kelly your selling .
