    Hi,

I am looking for a good annual multi-trip travel insurance for myself and the girlfriend.

We have tried to get the couple rates everywhere but most places won't cover unless we are living together. I then contacted justcover, and it sounded like it was being run from a house based office - it is a private company.

What i'm worried about, is i asked if he would cover us since we are not living together and he said yes "once your a steady couple", even though it states on the site their definition is two people living together in a realtionship. Yet he says that doesn't matter.....opinions?

I didn't want to open another thread about insurance.

I'm looking around now and have found this: http://www.getcover.com/travel_index.asp

I'm going for backpacker cover. I'm flying into NY on May21 and staying there for at least 4 weeks then moving around before returning to NY and flying home on July 30.

It's a nice price at €74.40 (I opted yes for personal possessions - €62 if you opt no).

Anyone got anything good/bad to say about it?
I'll be going for it unless I'm advised otherwise, then i'll go through ACE for €110.

I got the annual policy. I made a claim in Janurary and got the mojority of what i claimed for. Got abt 380. Just filled in the forms and gave in as much supporting documentation I had. Got the cheque in under 2 weeks no queries abt it at all.

I used www.insureandgo.com when i went backpacking last year. Made 7 claims, they paid out for 6 (i can understand the one they didn't - my phone was stolen from a dorm which is classified as a public place as others have access to it). They let me wait till i got ome too before submitting claims. I got over €1000 back:D

Forgot to add, cost around €280 for a years premium policy, so no excess. Bonus!
