Full Driving Licence and Provisional Licence

    Hello Everyone!

    Passed my full driving test today!!

    I now have to bring my provisional licence to the County Council and hand that in before I can be issued with a full licence. My driving test was on the motorbike and I am currently learning to drive a car so it goes without saying that I need to hold onto my provisional licence for the car!!

    What is the story regarding this? Do I need to pay more money to get the provisional licence amended to remove the motorbike from it since I will have the full licence for it already??

    The government sites dont offer any help as usual. Any help from you guys/girls is greatly appreciated. :D

    Perhaps you could try asking in the motors section?

    Was in the exact same situation last month. Say it to the clerk when you're in the motor tax office, bring along a couple more passport photos & they'll issue you a new provisional for nothing. The new provisional will only be valid for the period listed on the orginal though.
