Hi Folks... what do ye think? To get this gig is going to take major effort for me, rushing across the country after work, I'm just recovering from being out sick last week and it cost e40..................... but yet I'm still tempted. Can anyone recommend it?

Yes, I'd say it would be worth the effort to see LLoyd. He went off the scene for a while and re emerged a few years ago. Keith Jarrett and Jack de Johnette appeared on some of his early albums. Not sure who his current line up is though. I think he played the Cork Jazz Festival a few years ago if my memory serves me right.

Too late now, my exhaustion made the call! Current lineup is with Jason Moran on Piano (he played around Ireland last year) and Eric Harland on drums (from Lloyd's trio with Zakir Hussain) I don't know the bassist..
