I've been playing on Mansion for 1 month and was dying to see my VPIP PFR etc but PT does not support mansion.... so, I spent the day writing a hand converter for mansion. It requires a small bit of computer experience to run it, but am willing to share the script if anyone likes. I doubt there are many mansion players here who use PT but thought I'd let you know in case.

Are you playing tournaments or cash games? how are you doing? Whats the standard like?

I'm just playing cash at the moment building a roll. I initially deposited 1k to play the 100k tournament and promptly lost 700:) With my last 300 I decided to try build a BR and stayed clear of the 100k tourny. I started buying in for $50 at .50/1 and got it back to 1200 on my first attempt (8hrs 4 tabling). I started playing a low variance 1/2 with 6 buyins. The standard at 1/2 is shocking, especially on the weekend's and after 1am during the week, and sometimes in the afternoon during the week... so I was confident I could do some set mining with a very small chance of busting. It took me 2 weeks to get properly BR'd for 1/2,and am now taking stabs at 2/4 and sometimes 4/8. I'm running at 9BB/100 at 1/2 over 9k hands and should be properly BR'd for 2/4 in about 2 weeks. I've been quite unlucky at 1/2 actually with a lot ofset/set situations but at 4/8 (normally 4am saturday morning) i've run well. I'm dying to get a roll for 4/8 because I see the same fish from 1/2 playing 4/8.

It is a good site, but it needs loads of improvements. The standard is probably the same (if not a bit better) than ipoker

also curious about mansion as i'm thinking of moving some of my roll there to play the 100k tournies.. would appreciate if you could answer a few of the below questions if possible..

how many 1/2 tables on average are available thoughout the day/night?
does pokertracker, pahud or gametime work?
    are you receiving any rakeback?
are the tables the typical 800x600? can they be resized?

    daytime 11am - 9pm about 3 or 4.
    9pm - 3am about 5 or 6.
    3am-11am sometimes only 1 or 2 tables.

neither do, but PT will work using my script

yes, i'm actually in negotiations with them because I didn't bother getting RB when I signed up so my % hasn't been finalised. You can get 36% from most RB sites if you are a new customer.

no resizing. They might actually be a bit smallerthan 800X600. Defo smaller than tribeca and ipoker

Could you expand on this please?
By computer experience do you mean writing scripts and so forth?

    Thanks

All the code is written. It's actually easy enough. Here is a summary:

First you need to create a new folder on your PC called MansionConverter or whatever (this name is not important). Place the converter program in that folder. Then you need to create a sub folder called mansion_history (this name is important)

Next you need to download the files from mansion and place them in the mansion_history folder. It's a bit messy as you have to download the hand history in blocks of 100 manually from the site. It took me about 3hrs to download 10k hands.

Once that is done you just run the converter and it should find all the hand histories in the mansion_history folder and convert them into Poker Tracker hand histories.

Sounds good, are you going to release the script to the general public?

meh, if anyone on boards wants to use it then fine. but not arsed doing anything with it. it's really simple enough and only took me a day to write so I'm sure it has very little value. If PT or Mansion feel like writing one they have their own code monkeys to do what I did easily enough.
