Hi All,

I am about to make a big splurge on a large LCD. I am looking at two (a 46" and a 47" FULL HD) on komplett as follows:

Philips 47" LCD-TV 47PFL7642D/10

They are both rather expensive, but I cant decide which to get! So I am looking for advice before I commit and then have someone tell me afterwards that the one I bought is crap!!!!! (bound to happen!)

Any suggestions much appreciated and/or please do let me know if there are better alternatives out there that I should be considering in the same price range?

I'd go with the Samsung it has better contrast and brightness compared to the Philips display.
