What are you calling to hit on the flop and on the turn? Talk me through your thought process as the hand played out..

flop i admit was a bad call, but wanted to play with this guy....
the guy was betting at a lot of pots on the flop, normally could be pushed off the hand at a later stage, the call of the raise on the turn, in my head, was thinking if the board paired i could push him off it, any 9-10-k-a i have the nuts

the reason why i bet is because i have a rep on the table already, basically betting with **** and get called down a lot even though i always have a hand.... i havent showed many which helped my table image of wreckless when im actually only playing decent hands...
bad bet on river??, i know the whole the only hand calling you is beating you is here but being totally honest, one of the players would have called me with a str8 in the hand, not to mind the flush....
should have bet the turn???

proper omaha players please analyse this hand and let me know where i went wrong, the player in question has been relatively tight but has made a few interesting calls since i arrived, i was considered a chaotic player who bets pot a lot,
only been there for around 30 mins



also being taunting players which could easily have encouraged a call


edit: he obviously didnt buy into the chaotic persona as he flat calls the river instead of putting my whole stack in.... or he might just be cautious when unsure

Maybe it is just me that sees it this way Dougee, but if you bluff a lot in Omaha, which you seems to do, then you should not be simultaneously taunting people into calling you. That cannot be good for business. Also, the hand to do this on is not the lowest house on the board, although you did get unlucky there.

The first Omaha hand you posted, you picked up a good card for you on the turn, but the preflop call and flop call surely lose you value in general, but as you say, you play Omaha differently to most people.

Is this a correct statement: You mostly play Omaha to bluff the rocks whenever scare cards come?
