I like 2 and 4. 2 for the action that is captured, it looks like it could be from some African city if it weren't for the background.
4 I like coz it looks like he's being followed by the girl behind him

I love your street style... the first and last stand out from the rest I think. They have a nice sense of not being aware of the photographer. Not sure about the blur in the limbo dancer shot, it seems too 'cut out', if you know what I mean... I also like the colour one of the guys with instruments - are they those people who try to sell you 'gouranga - be happy!' badges?

    Thanks Cambo, Elven...

I dont think those Hare Krishna guys were selling anything, they were a nice addition to Henry street to be honest. They were loud and colourful and brought a good atmosphere to the whole place. I think they were only advertising the fact that there was something on later in Merrion square - either way they made me smile..

1 is definitely my favourite...really like the contrast between the subject and the background shop window. nice work!

Hare Krishna's are quite nice people.

Just say Gouranga and they'll be off.

They used to give cheap food out in our college up until last year when our canteen stopped it.

    Gavinda's is fantastic though...mmmm...

On topic, the first two are definitly the best of the lot. The later three are missing something, I think a different (lower?) viewpoint could have made them work much much better.

The first one could work nicer if there was some background colour, rathing than being completly monotone - He's too 'cut out' for the scene.

I think the background of the second could have a bit more contrast.

    Thanks tadhgrrr..

Fajitas..I'm not usually one for the selective colour, i tried it here as the background was a bit busy..heres another in full colour to show you what i mean

Wouldnt it be great if you could tell the street performers where to stand so they had nice backgrounds..thats what i hate about grafton street - to many naff shop fronts in the background..

I had been down lower for some of the Hare Krishna shots but nearly got trampled and didnt get anything good..Henry street can be an unforgiving place on a saturday afternoon..;)

I like the first one stood out straight away, I actually like the contrast with the backgroup.

Also like the last one, nice sense of movement and the group of girls to the right keep the interest on that side.

    The rest aren't bad either!

I keep going to reply to this and then realising I don't have the disc with my shots on it - I think I may have a photo of you :) I was on your flickr and someone who looks suspiciously like a guy in a lot of your shots is in a few of mine from the 5th - taken around central bank wearing all black with a lens with a red ring around it and a large-ish camera bag? I was shooting the skateboarders..

Anyway, I like the one of merchants arch in particular. It has a nice feel to me.
