Try contacting a UK solicitor . I lived in the UK for 7 years and I think a credit check will show any registered county court judgements against an individual. If the business is a company then you could get a credit report and company information such as last filed accounts and annual returns from the UK companies Office for a fee. The solicitor would have to advise on how to check for pending court cases .
