A tiny bit of advice

It just struck me as I checked this forum that a brief bit of advice may be of benefit to some people.

When setting up a jam/band etc, just because you made the post on boards.ie does not make in some way superior to the other musicians that might reply and meet up with you.

I think respect is the important thing around here and I'm sure most musicians here treat others with respect, I just thought I'd say it.

I've had some good experience from this board where we've all jammed and had a good time because the musicans respected each other's differances, and I've also experienced horrible sessions where the OP thinks he/her is god and bosses everyone around while lacking in his/her certain area.

I've seen some pros post here, I've seen some complete beginners post here... I think everyone deserves a bit of respect especially in RL.

Now back to the boredom of stringing this damn guitar...

haha yeah, it is pretty strange but it livens up the day, its bloody impossible to find musicians on here though, even getting to the jam stage is a success, and if the jam goes well and leads to practices then thats just the holy grail.
