ms word problems

i'm typing up a report for college. if i press the bullet point button, word assumes i want to put a bullet point on every line in the document.

when i press undo because i obviously don't want this, it removes every bullet point in the document, including the ones i wanted to be there.


why does bill gates think he's smarter than me? why can't he let me just type my report without ****ing it up in really clever ways?

i have no idea. i didn't fubar them and it wasn't like this the last time i opened word. i think the solution might be to fly to california and kill bill gates (assuming he lives there)

another thing that really pisses me off is when i highlight text it assumes i also want the text to the left and right of what i highlightes. guess what bill, if i wanted it highlighted i would've ****ing highlighted it :mad:

I don't think I can even replicate that problem :-/

Go to Help and click on Detect and Repair. Theres also a thing in the options somewhere for resetting the formatting or styles or something but cant remember off hand.

i found a bit of a hack in the end. if i put a space before pressing the bullet button it only put it on one line. i suppose it'll do til i cba getting it working right
