    Just looking through the carzone and i came across this car

    thinking of buying this for my wife

    Please let me know what i need to keep in mind.

    I know its a uk reg and i neet to pay 21% vat

    do u think its a good bargain ?

    i think its huge milage for a petrol car. Look for something with low milage.There's loads of ford focuses on carzone

    You wont need to pay VAT as it is over 6 months old and 6,000 miles. You'll just be liable for VRT. I know its going cheap, but I wouldn't touch a 1.6 Focus with that kind of mileage!

    the first thing to turn me off the car is the mileage 225,308 kms, thats a lot for a 1.6 petrol engine, imo your buying someones troubles a lot of ware and tear on that car.

    Doesn't look like the seller has much interest in the car either considering the photos in the advert are taken in the near dark and show the car filthy inside and out. Might give you a hint to the way the car was maintained.

    Best avoided imo, it's cheap for a reason.

    Yeah its not mainted well , if he cared he would have got it washed at the very least :)
