It does look quite strange. Kinda reminds me of a scene from a Stephen King novel.

But realisticially, it was probably only a marketing gimmick to sell the painting in the first place. In saying that I certainly wouldn't have it in my house!

Wouldn't have it in my house. It reminds me also of a stephen King movie, desperation I think it was called. Very creepy, the little boys looks like a very wise old man close up and dolls freak me out anyway. Talented artist though.

Was that the Pierot painting, the clown thing. Hehe I was MAD into that as a youngster, had a quilt,pillowcase,lamp the works. Then one day a friend came to the house and nearly melted on the spot with the fright:D

Back to the OP - the little girl sorts of follows you doesn't she - is it called scrying when you look at something and determine if you can see anything else in the face? I wonder if you did that with the painting would you get anything

I didnt believe in this, but this was posted here before. I looked at it thought it was freaky but a while after looking at it, the power in my bed room went !!

The rest of the house was fine . I still dont think its related but i did consider it.

To be honest I personnally don't think the picture is haunted. I can't remember much of what I origionally read about it, but IMHO I can't help thinking any freaky looking picture you are trying to sell, will definetly sell better with a story attached to it.
